...and suddenly I saw the heavens unfastened and open, planets, palpitating plantations, shadow perforated, riddled with arrows, fire and flowers, the winding night, the universe.
And I, infinitesimal being, drunk with the great starry void, likeness, image of mystery, felt myself a pure part of the abyss, I wheeled with the stars, my heart broke loose on the wind.
I was told this is in Oklahoma, but it feels like Colorado to me so much that the first time I looked at it, I sat staring for probably twenty straight minutes. There is much about Colorado I do not miss (people being 99 percent of that); what I do miss is the spectacular scenery that this photo harkens for me. So beautiful this is, I actually felt for a moment the desire to visit Oklahoma, something I'd never considered before!
