a detail from Marc Chagall's "The Peace Window." it's really quite an amazing work in stained glass. You will find it in the public lobby of the United Nations on an east wall behind some stairs and down a short hall. As you're admiring it look to your left and you will see the door to the Meditation Room.

there were hundreds of people in the lobby but I hung out at the end of this little hall for about twenty minutes and never saw another soul.

I was searching for "Chagall" because I was hoping...to no avail...that someone had taken a photo of his windows in Chicago at the Art Institute [link] for my new journal. And what do I find? Your "Chagall."
I honestly could sit and stare at his windows in Chicago...for hours. And write. I know I would write...
