It was an honest answer! I posted a couple, but the camera is being neglected lately....lack of good scenery coupled with lack of motivation. Maybe now that the holidays are over, I can get my you-know-what back out there shooting again! lol!
Each time I glance back at this emotional scene I expect to see the hungering wooden fingers have moved closer and closer through the smoke and mystery to its goddess who -- as naught else can do -- waits forever.
And, that's not only one of my most favorite tunes, but also enjoy so much the harmonies of Bennet and Lang. My mostest favorite is from Picnic, that wonderful dance scene between Holden and Novak. I've been listening to it for years. And love the movie.
If I weren't a completely straight gal, Novak would have been one of my crushes, too. But even as a straight woman, I can appreciate a beautiful woman and actress... most certain a very unique and special woman such as her. And in that movie she was at her best!
Hold on there!
Wut did you call me?
Ooooooooh them's fight'n words. Now you're going to get it, Denise!
Not sure what "it" is. Will need time to think on this. May you suffer and fear in the interim.
hahaha is ok. Most people can't seem to spell it right. Even I blunder lots. And my little relatives become very imaginative for lack of being able to speak it. The best is currently, by my gr gr nephew: "Aunty Dia." The worst went on years, by my eldest niece, who as a little thing was wont to lose track of me in the store and then scream her head off "CACA! CACA!" and I'd saunter over, she'd point at me, and cry, "Caca! Caca!" Thus I'd claim the infamy while taking her hand and muttering to those strangers around the edges who were laughing heartily, "I'm her aunty. My name is Claudia. A bit difficult for her to say."
