Even, or especially, in black and white it has a purity of beauty. I can tell you spent a lot of time selecting your camera point of view. It is like your eye follows many paths to the far, far distant mountains. The tones are great from pure black to pure white. Unlike others, the focus is crisp throughout and for once the winds don't interfere. Even the clouds are in harmony.
I cannot help but wonder how this would have played out in color, or with a color wash to the black and white.
As for the black border top and bottom, it makes me long for a more panoramic format, or to be completely surrounded by the black, but this isn't a complaint, but just a manner of presentation.
