Even, or especially, in black and white it has a purity of beauty. I can tell you spent a lot of time selecting your camera point of view. It is like your eye follows many paths to the far, far distant mountains. The tones are great from pure black to pure white. Unlike others, the focus is crisp throughout and for once the winds don't interfere. Even the clouds are in harmony.
I cannot help but wonder how this would have played out in color, or with a color wash to the black and white.
As for the black border top and bottom, it makes me long for a more panoramic format, or to be completely surrounded by the black, but this isn't a complaint, but just a manner of presentation.
Love the textures, tones and composition but it is too sharp (for want of a better word) for my eyes.Somehow unorganic... which is very different than what i expect from you. Are you venturing into a new way of seeing? I hope you now what I mean.
Nice shot Dennis, You created a Nice depth with the mountain range and a good feel to the desert here, kind of how I expected the borders of NM to look like, which is all I have really seen of it. and Love that sky Good song Choice too
