What we have is a very accurate and revealing view of a fascinating building. Fortunately, you have given us both interior and exterior, so we can form a three dimension image in our minds of a very complex structure. Even though we barely get a glimpse of the windows in the exterior view there are enough of them seen, although barely, (I count 7.) that we can link the two images. I think you were very wise to eliminate the sky in the photograph the building, it would have just been a distraction. All this is good, excellent, in fact.
I question your choice of a title. I would suggest just what you wrote below the title on your page.
I do find the composition to be very static. If all you wanted to do was build a three dimensional picture in our brains, fine, but you missed the opportunity to do more.
Notice the exterior view: the building is just a bit off center. Great. Perhaps a bit more would be even better. You give the lighted side preference over the dark side. (Recall the dark side from Star Wars.) This is not a memorial chapel (I go only from what you have revealed.), asking us to look back at the past, some tragic event perhaps, some disaster, some war. It is a thanksgiving chapel, calling us to look forward, giving thanks for the past and pledged to give of ourselves in the future so others may look back and give thanks for us. The building itself makes this statement in a very powerful way. (Bravo, architect!) As I say, your placement suggests this, but could do so more forcefully.
So… what does all this say about the interior shot? In a building dedicated to the future, you seem to be showing us an interior stuck in the past, stuck in place. The image is almost perfectly centered. You have captured it and put it in a box. Yes, I know, 90% of the pictures in DA are perfectly centered. But the better ones dare to make a statement by the placement of their central theme. Check out your own favorites section. Look at the off center pictures. They make a statement, don’t they? So you think I am harping on a ‘tiny’ detail of an excellent picture? Really excellent pictures are the results of many tiny details. The spiral of light and glass and plaster goes round and round and comes out nowhere. It’s stuck in its little box. Now, in your mind’s eye, move the spiral to the left, almost to the very left of the frame. You have given it room to breathe, you have freed it from its box; it now has somewhere to go. Put yourself back into the building, actually or in your mind. Aim your camera in such a way that the spire ends not moving down, but rather pointing out to the right. Is it possible to do this? Now the spiral is really free, like the building itself it points to the future, it calls us to give thanks for the past, but to move always to the future. (From a 76 year old who still gives thanks for the past but my eyes and my spirit are firmly oriented to the future.) Hope you like the critique.

Beautiful shot ;) I love modern stained glass...I always find it more spiritually uplifting than the traditional type. I can appreciate medieval stained glass windows...but I don't actually like the majority of them...

We have a couple of decent bits of art deco architecture in the area near me, I must get round to taking the camera out lol
Winter is a nightmare for me, so when it gets warm in spring I will never be in ;)

Wow, this shot is truly absorbing ... right into its center~  Congrats!

And I've always been fascinated by colored glass and light – like in churches. And hence I find this pic would deserve a title carrying some of its numinous mood, such as "Light dome," "Stairway to Heaven," or something like that (maybe less bold).  ;D

Love the shape, color and light in this.   As always, you have caught my eye and kept me moving through the frame.  I disagree with the critique below.  I wouldn't feel the need to connect the images of the interior and the exterior unless I was doing a documentary type image for a professional publication.  Sometimes an image is just an image to please, delight and feast on. I, oddly, feel I know you well enough to know that your images are more of a delight for the senses than a piece of just work product.

Keep on with your life's travels, my friend.
