See them tumbling down
Pledgin' their love to the ground.
Lonely but free I'll be found
Driftin' along with a tumbling tumbleweed.

Cares of the past are behind
Nowhere to go but I'll find
Just where the trail will wind
Drifitn' along with a tumbling tumbleweed.

I know when night has gone
That a new world's born at dawn.

I'll keep rollin' along.
Deep in my heart is a song.
Here on the range I belong.
Driftin' along with a tumbling tumbleweed.

I'm a roaming cowboy ridin' all day long.
Tumbleweeds around me sing their lonely song.
Nights underneath the prairie moon
I'll ride along and sing a tune.

I'll keep rollin' along.
Deep in my heart is a song.
Here on the range I belong.
Driftin' along with a tumbling tumbleweed.

...and now for a moment of zen. I give you Mr. Eddy Arnold.

predator ?

oh they take over areas completely where the wind and the land causes them to stop. fence rows collect them and slowly but surely dust and dirt builds up on them(or almost overnight in the dustbowl days.)at some point cattle can walk out.

it's just a crazy super competitor plant. thousands and thousands of seeds and it's made just right to catch the wind and roll over the prairie. 's impressive.

well not sure about fascinating but it is pretty cool. ;)

your country seems as varied as mine in it's landscape. I'm always struck by how much your prairie lands look like ours.
